Foundry Town Clinic is currently migrating to a new clinical system called EMIS Web, which is causing temporary disruptions to patient appointments, patient registrations, the NHS Wales App and other online services.

The practice will be temporarily reducing the number of appointments available each day, this includes all pre-bookable and same day appointments for GPs, Practice nurses and Healthcare assistants. This is to allow more allocated time per appointment booking, to ensure patient needs are met and documented appropriately whilst we navigate the new clinical system. This disruption will last approximately 4 weeks.

The Practice has now temporarily disabled the NHS Wales App while we undergo processes during this migration. Patients will experience limited access to features like test results and appointment bookings, and will be temporarily unable to order prescriptions via the App. This disruption will last approximately 1 week overall.
