Additional flu clinic dates are available and are now for all patients aged 65 and over.
At Aberaman Surgery these are on
Wednesday 30th September Thursday 1st October
At Aberdare Surgery there is one on
Thursday 8th October
All clinics are by appointment only.
Face masks must be worn
Wear short sleeved tops if possible
You must not attend more than 5 minutes early or 5 minutes late to enable social distancing measures
Please provide an updated mobile number when you book your appointment with reception so that a reminder can be sent to you
If you have an appointment with a doctor or nurse at any time from the 24th September and are eligible for a flu vaccination please request to have it then rather than attending a separate flu clinic appointment.
Dates for under-65 clinics will be announced in due course.
The practice will not be supplying letters for exemption of face coverings.
The page linked below, on the UK Government website, contains information on face coverings and links to exemption badges and cards which can be printed out for those who cannot wear face covering for age, health or disability reasons.
We have been taking repeat prescription requests over the phone since March. This is no longer possible due to the busy phone lines – we will have to revert back to prescription requests in writing or online as outlined on the website.
There is a locked box outside each surgery where requests can be posted.
We would like to encourage the use of the online service for prescriptions – please contact the surgery to register.
All patients attending the surgery are requested to wear a face covering. Children under 11 years of age are exempt.
Patients who do not wear a face covering will be asked to wait outside until the doctor or nurse is ready for them to proceed directly to the consulting room.
This is to protect all patients who may be in the waiting room.
