Unfortunately Dr Steve Chapman left the Surgery in May to work closer to home. Despite our best efforts we have been unable to replace him.
There is also limited locum doctor availability other than for telephone consultations. Although this is not ideal we have employed this service but hope it will not have to be our long-term option.
Please be aware that staff at the Surgery are working as hard as they can and we are seeing as many patients as possible without making the waiting room unsafe with too many patients. We would be grateful for your understanding.
Our phone lines are incredibly busy and staff are trying their best to answer in a timely manner. By giving the receptionists a brief problem summary it does mean that those who need to be seen, rather than having a telephone consultation, can be appointed appropriately, capacity allowing.

The NHS COVID Pass allows you to show others that you’ve received a COVID-19 vaccine when travelling abroad.
You can access your NHS COVID Pass for international travel online and download or print the Pass as a PDF document.
Do not request a vaccination certificate from the GP Surgery or vaccination centre. The Surgery cannot provide letters showing your COVID-19 vaccination status.
Our final two clinics for second dose COVID vaccinations are Friday 25th June 2021 in Aberaman and Tuesday 6th July 2021 in Aberdare.
If you have not received an appointment for either of these dates please contact the Surgery as there are plenty of appointments left. There must be at least 8 weeks between your first and second vaccinations.
If you are unable to attend or the 8 weeks is after these dates please contact the Cwm Taf Community Vaccination Centre (see previous posts for contact details) to get your vaccination done there.
The Surgery has nearly completed vaccinating our eligible patients with their second COVID vaccine.
If you had your first vaccine from us over 8 weeks ago and have not been given an appointment for your second vaccine please contact the surgery. All weekend clinics have now finished, vaccinations will be carried out during normal surgery hours.

The Surgery has now given 3441 COVID vaccine doses. We would like to reiterate that we are now only able to give second dose vaccines.
This weekend, on Saturday 8th May, we will be vaccinating those who received their first vaccination dose on the weekend of 20th/21st February.
