If you are eligible for a flu jab and have not yet had one please contact the Surgery. We only have a very small number remaining for those 65 and over, but have plenty for those under 65.

The Surgery will be closed on both sites on the afternoon of Thursday 14th November 2024 from 1:00pm for clinical staff training which has been provided by Cwm Taf Morgannwg Health Board across Rhondda Cynon Taf and Merthyr.

From 1:00pm on the 14th November our telephone system will move to an automated message providing contact details for a covering GP Team. This team will only be able to deal with urgent medical problems that cannot wait until the following day. They will not be able to deal with general queries.

Please remember that you should ring 999 for medical emergencies or 111 for NHS health advice.

The Surgery will open as normal from 8:00am the following day, Friday 15th November 2024.

If you are eligible and have not yet had your flu jab there is a walk-in Flu Clinic in the Monk Street Surgery today (Thursday 7th November 2024) between 5:00pm and 6:00pm.

No appointment necessary.
